These are beautifully presented, well equipped properties. There are lovely indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The bedrooms are cosy up in the roof. Having a washing machine was very useful as we stayed here for four nights in the middle of our Danish tour. There is a big golf course, pool, sports hall, bowling and restaurants on the complex but we the cabins are away from this and we were able to use the resort for a peaceful cabin experience. We did hire canoes for two hours to paddle around the lake, this was lovely and very reasonably priced. There is little light pollution and we’re very fortunate to get an amazing view of the Aurora Borealis over the cabin one night as well as a meteor shower. Situated in a wonderful part of Denmark with Thy National Park, Limfjord & Klitmøller not too far away.

The evening food was incredible, seriously one of the best meals ever, such care and preparation. We are from the UK and this was a return stop off back from Norway, but next time it will be a destination in itself just for the food. The hotel itself is a very historic building, possibly 18th century or earlier and a further treat in itself
