We liked the energy of the place. Everything was accessible within a quick walking distance. Food was very good despite some reviews we have read. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff had a bad attitude, customer service was terrible. Room was so noisy because of the pool bar. Trying to cheat us with change money in the restaurant.

    Good value for the money. Thanks to the coral barrier reef and the water temperature (29 degree C) Bavaro beach is very comfortable for swimming. Entertaiment program was proffesional and pleasant.

    Everything was great, the people, weather, activities (snorkeling, boat ride, boogie etc) were well coordinated. It's a bit expensive city though so couldn't buy a lot of souvenirs. HST was also 18% which is on the high side.

    The beaches were absolutely stunning!

    The beaches were absolutely stunning! Getting around Punta Cana was fairly easy, and Uber proved to be a safer and more predictable choice. For excursions, most tour companies offer convenient pick-up services right from your hotel, making things stress-free. We had a fantastic time visiting Scape Park and La Hacienda, both perfect for families and adventure lovers alike. Parasailing and Dolphin Explorer were big hits with the kids and added unforgettable moments to our trip. Best Time to Visit: Avoid summer if possible. The heat and humidity can be intense, so visiting between November and March offers a much more pleasant experience. Pro Tip: Plan your excursions ahead of time, and don’t forget to pack plenty of sunscreen!

    Very nice beaches, very good restaurants, warm people. Traffic may become a nightmare. The airport is too crowded. Security screening process and inmigration booths have a rather poor layout for so many people.

    This is an opportunity to experience a simpler way of life in the tropics. Great opportunities to see beaches and go to excursions to reconnect with nature. To have a more enriched experience, I recommend you learn some Spanish phrases to get by. Thank God I spoke the language. If the region wants to thrive in the tourism industry, I highly recommend that they have people speak the language of commerce-English (they would generate more revenue). It may be easier to get by if you speak French as many people spoke that as well.

    I feel like I would have loved to stay longer if the staff wasn't stealing from our rooms. The restaurants in the hotel were okay. My gf got food poisoning from the steakhouse. Staff wasn't super friendly we rarely would get our drinks refilled or drinks in general.

    This was a great, and good value, apartment and we really enjoyed staying there. It had everything we needed. Sandy was a helpful and responsive host. The beach, and nice places to eat, are all around a 5 to 10 minute walk away. I'd recommend the nearby Villa Blanca beach club. Staying here gave us a somewhat more authentic experience of Punta Cana than the resort hotels.

    Everything was amazing ! The location in a local area (and not a touristic zone) and close to the Macau beach. The confort and the cleanness. The breakfast prepared by Angelica was delicious! And Jorge is the most welcoming host in earth !! He make us to feel like home !! It is the best place we've stayed during our trip to Dominican Republic !!

    The worst hotel I’ve ever booked! They emailed me saying they are transferring my booking to a sister hotel but did not transfer! They just cancelled my booking without notifying me so I ended up arriving at Punta Cana with no hotels, and I had to book a new one on the spot with total cost almost double of original booking!

    The room was very nice and comfortable ☺️ the bathroom spacious.. balcony as well.. We did like it . The whole hotel is very luxurious and taken care everyday. The employes are making good job ! 👏 I liked the most the pool.. on the beach it was too much seaweed and i think this is normal for Punta Cana.
