Offering free Wi-Fi, this hotel is quietly located in the center of Valga. Built in 1912, it is decorated with antique furniture, and the unique restaurant is furnished with a hunting theme.

I was very comfortable in this apartment. It is very close to shopping, restaurants and the border to Latvia. It is fully stocked with everything you need and the host, Helge is extremely kind.
Because there are no taxis she picked me up at the bus station and also dropped me off when I left. I really appreciated that. She also brought me some delicious tomatoes from her garden. She was the best host that she could possibly be.

Pleasant apartment, good bathroom/kitchen. Perfect location quite center street with shops, river, Latvian border all near by. Easy check in and check out. Parking in front of the building
Valga is kinda meh. Not bad, but also not somewhere you would recommend to someone. You can do everything in the town in 1-3 hours. If you're going from Estonia to Latvia by train, make sure you time the train right because there's only 2 trains per day.
You don't want to have to stay in Valga. It's kind of a boring border town. Sure come out, go see the world's most relaxed border crossing, but it's really anti-climatic.
Defiantly don't book an expensive hotel because you'll regret it. Book Yasmina if you have to stay in Valga, super cheap and comfortable and you won't feel like you wasted your money (as much).

A great modern apartment in the heart of Valga town with a very stylish wooden/Scandic design, which makes your stay really cosy and warm. A lot of candles and nice decorations. Fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, utensils, etc. First we were impressed by the house, which is an old one wooden two-store building missing some fresh painting and care, but the interior really exceeded our expectations.
Excellent location very close to the places you want to see. Spacious and clean room. Downstairs is a very well equipped kitchen with a cozy sitting area, and outside the door, there were picnic tables. Good WiFi which also worked at the outside tables. It was a good place to stay, because even if you are heading for Latvia, the transport leaves from Valga, not from Valka!
The staff member I met on arrival was very welcoming and friendly. I arrived quite late at 9pm however that was not a problem for her and was expecting me. My room was excellent -the beds are very comfy and I had trouble waking up because they were too comfy 😂. One of the best hotels I've stayed in within Europe! Didn't try the breakfast or meal so can't review that
Nice place with a well-equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom with two single beds and windows to the backyard (with decent window covers so it's actually dark at night). Everything there you need, and a very friendly and helpful host. Perfect place to stay in Valga - very close to both the Estonian and Latvian town centre, but a little tucked away.
The room is cosy and warm, very comfortable bed. The owner didn't speak English but seemed friendly enough. Convenient location if you are arriving by train into Valga Station.
