The hotel is dated and in need of a refresh. However, it is a good value given its location across the street from the Luxor Temple with an excellent in-house restaurant (Al-Sahaby Lane). Breakfast's spread is good, and the view from the roof top restaurant is memorable. Both lunch and dinner menus offer a good variety, reasonably price and are excellent. The staff is cheerful and courteous.

Located at the gateway to Luxor, Al Moudira Hotel is the only palace located on the west bank of the Nile. The domes and the patios ornate with arabesque makes up the oriental décor.

The bed was comfy and the staff were very welcoming and nice! They have a really diverse menu with good food, i recommend al hambra for your luxor stay, the location is close to the nile so you can hop back and forth between the 2 sides of luxor by boat
