Beautiful location, lovely old buildings, delicious food, friendly helpful staff all made for a restful 2 day break. So quiet here in summer, refreshing swimming pool. We had a basic double bed room. As it is an old traditional Spanish building, small window. Lots of character. For a longer break, I would have booked one of the larger rooms, with more facilities. We would come back here definitely. Meals reasonable prices. Dog friendly. Lots of grassy spaces for children, swings, hammocks amongst the trees. Good for bird watchers due to the river,( which was more of a stream when we visited.)

Such a wonderful relaxing experience and felt like such luxury! Really lovely facilities and a wonderful, breakfast - the pastries arrived warm and it was very tasty. Lovely visits from the local cats!

The receptionist Sara was fantastic. So helpful. Went out of her way to help when we were let down by the taxi company we booked. Also very helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit.

This hotel is a lovely rural haven. The owners Denise and Martyn are attentive but discreet. We stayed in the garden room, which was very spacious. We ate at the hotel every day and the food was excellent. The pool and pool area is lovely and very well maintained. We couldn’t fault this hotel and will definitely stay again.

The location was PERFECT. Everything was close by and there was a restaurant right below with very good food. The best part, was that the owners treated me like a guest in their house.
