Can Pastilla, in the midst of it all!
Location is definitely one of the best assets of Can Pastilla, just a 5-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport and a 10-minute drive from Palma’s Old Town. Although today sun lovers populate its golden beaches and hotels, Can Pastilla was only a small fishing village 60 years ago, no more than a hamlet centered around the small San Antonio de la Playa church. It's also fair to say that Can Pastilla is relatively calmer than other resorts in the area.

A stones throw from the airport so a must for me. A working town so not full of tourists? Some of the ships are tacky but there are always some around. Can Pastilla is quiet at night and the local bars and eateries are friendly and kind to tourists . Not many places for children to explore and enjoy though . Can Pastilla is a beach resort near the airport, perfect if...
Can Pastilla is a beach resort near the airport, perfect if all you want to do is swim and sunbathe. Don't let that put you off if this sounds like your idea of hell. I used it as a base for a 10-day cycling holiday (I hired a bike at Can Velo) and it completely fit the bill. The Serra Tramuntana mountains are within easy reach, as are the cycle lanes of the interior. There's also a (flat) cycle path that hugs the coast all the way to Palma. There are three decent supermarkets in the centre of Can Pastilla if you want to self-cater and an excellent bus service to Palma and the airport.Guest review byJanUnited Kingdom - Review score8.0

Lovely area, not many bits. Lots of bars restaurants on the front, nice beach. Taxi rank short walk from the beach front and short taxi ride approx 20€. We tried to walk as google maps shows you can from the airport but you can't due to motorway to cross. Drinks and food reasonably priced and nice relaxed atmosphere. Most of the bars and restaurants were nice and there is quite a long strip to walk down front the beach to the marina area. Nice views around. Some high rise buildings but all low.
