In the picturesque town of Agaete, this hotel has a subtle nautical theme and a fantastic spa to enjoy. Head down to the nearby beach for breath-taking scenery and a swim in the Atlantic Ocean.

Spa was a little bit underwhelming but cheap (€6 for total stay). Breakfast was nice: lots of variety of yoghurt, cheese, meats, English breakfast options, desserts, even dates and nuts. Hotel has a faded glory vibe but definitely worth the price. Staff is nice and my room (just standard double room) was very spacious with a big terrace and two sun loungers that were very welcome during siesta time on Sunday.

Totally perfect view! Peaceful and quiet place and had a very friendly service and smiling staff. Room was quite small, but that was well informed at first place. Strong recommendation especially for backpackers, there are lots of different paths around Juncalillo :)

The beauty of the location, the hotel and surrounding buildings were superb. Inside the hotel there was a spacious upstairs lounge for quiet reading or conversation. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were both pleasantly decorated, with appropriate space for luggage, clothes, washbags etc. There were fantastic french-windows, with a small balcony overlooking the plaza and effective wooden shutters that blocked out any light for sleeping.
We did not chose to eat breakfast, preferring to indulge in the many delicious nearly bakeries, but we dined twice in the hotel restaurant, where the food and wine were of excellent quality. We also enjoyed the hotel roof bar and sun loungers, which were surprisingly well protected from the wind.
The hotel was in easy walking distance from several interesting museums, cafés, shops and restaurants, where one could mingle with the friendly and helpful locals (despite our lack of Spanish!). There were also nearby bus stops from which one could travel very cheaply to several places around Gran Canaria, including beach locations.
Located in San Pedro, 42 km from Parque de Santa Catalina and 26 km from Cueva Pintada Museum, Refugio El Hornillo provides a restaurant, mountain views and free WiFi.

A very beautiful place in a small village with the most amazing view. It s a calm place to rest your soul. The rooms are very clean, the beds cosy and comfortable. You can feel the owner's love for the place everywhere in the details.
I would love to come back again one day.

What a wonderful apartment with a view looking out over the sea. I could lie in bed at night with the windows wide open listening to the waves. In the morning, across the promenade, down the stairs & into the sea within 2 mins - magic!
Well appointed apartment with everything I needed. My hosts were so kind & friendly.
Perfect place for a laid back beach holiday nicely off the beaten track.

Guayedra was a little piece of paradise - perfect for our first holiday since the start of the pandemic. Beautiful location and near enough to the local sea-side town with lovely restaurants. The staff at Guayedra were second to none - friendly, accommodating, not too familiar but always around when you needed something. The pools were lovely - heated pool and cold lagoon. The views - spectacular!! Mountains and valleys as well as rocky coat. Simply a wonderful week.
