Excellent service: When the electric car charging station did not work for me, the hotel technician immediately arrived, called the charging company and spent nearly 40 minutes diagnosing the problem. Real customer service.

I was only there for about 3 days, and therefore my experience is somewhat limited.
But I did see The Dancing Spanish horses. I think you MUST see them too.
Also I hit the Spanish Flameco dancing which was one the major reasons for going to the " Carnivals in February.

I loved this small city - staying near the historic centre was a delight. It is the sort of city I could be very happy living in, so I was grateful to have a whole month there. I was lucky to attend several events of the Flamenco Festival. I felt very safe and very comfortable dining solo. There were some delicious restaurants, I particularly loved A Mar. It is easy to visit other areas of Cadiz province by public transport and taxis are reasonable when you can find one. No Uber service - I tried the alternative but it was unreliable. I really loved everything about Jerez - my only hope is that they get better cleaning up after their dogs - it is improving I hear..

Alcazar well worth a visit.
Alcazar well worth a visit. Lots of places to eat...some of very good quality worth seeking out...you may need to book. Excellent train links to local towns and cities of Andalusia. A fabulous authentic local mercado....seafood, meat, vegetables etc....open most days. Equestrian museum brought to life by guide....a big surprise. There's more to Jerez than might meet to eye initially.....and don't forget the chilled Sherry...just give it a go...another surprise!!!

This trip was three nights.
This trip was three nights. Plenty to see and do - have visited several times. Easy access from Seville by train and have have also flown to Jerez from UK in summer months. Great Equestrian schools, Sherries and medieval buildings - including of course the Cathedral. Great Tapas bars with plenty of choice for all budgets and also plenty of Pastelarias (Checkout Jesus and Granier). Cadiz is not far by train for a day visit in warmer months and Jerez is not far from beaches (20 mins by car).

I stayed in the old town.
I stayed in the old town. The cathedral, the churches and the old style buildings are all beautiful. The restaurants, even the smallest ones are excellent. The town was very busy because of the Christmas celebrations which created a very lively atmosphere.
