Doing el Camino. Trail just a block away. Innkeeper lovely, kind, helpful. I’m accustomed to La Comida. She recommended Casa Milagros for Comida. So far the best meal in the Camino.

Stylish, beautifully appointed, gorgeously restored “indiano” mansion in a small town surrounded by green lawns and pastures. Maria Antonia, the proprietor is lovely. She is gracious, warm and attentive. She serves an elegant breakfast on crisp white tablecloth in the gazebo. Surrounded by the spectacular Asturias scenery, we felt we had stumbled onto our own secret Shangri-La.

Wonderful family run hotel that has been upgraded but retains old world charm. Mother and daughter owners were lovely and supportive. Great breakfast, clean and comfy rooms with great bathrooms

The setting is spectacular, with an unobstructed view of the majestic mountains. And Pedro (the owner) is the warmest, most gracious host that you can imagine. His 1878 casona has been beautifully restored; it has all the modern comforts yet authentic historical charm. And he is an excellent cook, producing fabulous meals using local ingredients. Also, Pedro is fluent in English, so in addition to having enjoyable conversations, he was able to book a table for us for lunch as well as recommend destinations and outings for us during the day. Be sure to ask him about the "do’s and don’ts" surrounding the traditional cider rituals!
