Hotel was good along with the location. The staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. Our only disappointment was that as the hotel wasn’t that busy the restaurant wasn’t opening for our evening meal and we had to eat in the bar for several evenings.

Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Mojacar is a medieval Moorish, town in the Spanish Province of Almería. This white-walled destination, which is situated on a rocky hillside at the foot of the Sierra de Cabrera, will surprise you with its natural beauty and unique architecture.
Rich in history and cultural heritage, Mojacar has been populated since the 2000 BC by Moors, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians and Romans. Today, it is a maze of narrow streets with local shops, street markets and restaurants serving traditional dishes like the ancient 'gachas'.
Travellers can park their car and explore the old town of this beautiful resort on foot. Home to 17 km of Blue Flag sandy beaches like Granatilla, the Playa de los Genoveses and the Playa de Monsul, the modern part of this coastal resort is an ideal place to enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, sailing and surfing. Golf lovers can visit the 18-hole courses of the Marina Golf and Desert Springs.
Almería Airport is about 55 km from Mojacar and has flights to big cities like London, Brussels and Barcelona. Check the Booking.com deals and choose from a variety of hotels, apartments and guest houses in Mojacar or the nearby cities of Vera and Carboneras.

Very nice Spanish coastal area.
Very nice Spanish coastal area.
The beach is looked after but it is a gritty sand. Softer sand in some areas tho. Buses seem to be frequent to other nearby coastal villages.
The original village - Pueblo built high up in Mojacar mountains is very quaint & a delight to visit… the views from up there are amazing!
Lots of cafes & restaurants in Mojacar.
We enjoyed all the meals we had out.

Lovely place to stay with lots of lovely eating places at reasonable prices. Lovely promenade about 2km long for daily strolls. Regular local bus service along the playa and up to the village. Very nice weather all year long with very little rain. Winter temperatures are usually in low 20s by lunchtime especially if you are sitting in a sheltered spot.

Restaurants we went to were very good. Tasty meals and good value for money. Advise to book a table at Neptune and balti tower I I. Buses run often that will take you all along the coast of Mojacar. The bus service takes you to places like Vera and Guruccha. Mojacar is great for walking as well.

Mojacar is a very laid back and easy going seaside town (playa) with the older part of the town (pueblo) overlooking the sea. If you are looking for clean beaches and a bit of site seeing this is the place for you. There is plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We stayed the second week of October and the weather was still really nice with just one day of clouds and rain but still nice and warm.

Mojacar is a beautiful place , especially Mojacar pueblo.
Mojacar is a beautiful place , especially Mojacar pueblo. It’s very quirky with narrow cobbled streets and lovely little gift shop, restaurants and bars.
We have eaten at many different restaurants but this last stay we ate at La Calenda and it was beautiful, service was good and food and drinks were excellent. Location was good with a view over the bottom square. We had drinks before at Time and Place, a cute little bar down one of the cobbled streets.
I feel that some of the streets would be difficult to navigate with a pushchair and definitely not good for a wheelchair.

I go to the hotel Continental a lot. It’s an absolutely fabulous hotel in an ideal location on the Playa. They have lots of weekend entertainment now which is really good absolutely beautiful locations set right on the beach. I would recommend this to anybody looking to stay in Mojacar. Buses run outside right to the other end.
I liked the central location within walking distance of the beach, numerous restaurants and supermarkets. Also a regular bus system for places such as the commercial centre and mojacar pueblo.
Great location, views of the beach, walking distance to Garrucha and easy drive to Mojacar old town and beach front restaurants. Outdoor facilities were lovely- pool, terrace and garden
Quirky property in an elevated position in the beautiful town of Mojacar pueblo, with free parking close by at the municipal swimming pool.
