I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite their website showcasing beautiful, recently updated rooms, the reality was far from it. The room I was assigned was outdated and did not match the images online. To make matters worse, a party was held on the premises until 4 AM, and my room was situated in such a way that I could hear the noise as if it were in my own space. Efforts to address the issue were met with indifference, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated. I would caution future guests to be wary of the discrepancies between the hotel's online portrayal and the actual accommodations. If you're seeking a peaceful and restful stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Clean and convenient accommodation with secure parking for our two e-bikes, complete with power outlets for charging. Friendly and helpful staff, and the hotel also accommodates luggage delivery from transfer companies. Highly recommended for Camino travelers

I was only in Sarria for less than 2 days at the start of a camino walk to Santiago. It was a very interesting town with lovely old stone buildings, views, good cafes and restaurants and bars. very interesting historically.
Also a good spot for a bit of preparatory camino shopping — poles, shoes and other gear.

On Camino Way of Saint James.
On Camino Way of Saint James.
Beautiful historical sites, lovely stone work, churches that ring their bells for the hour & mass,
beautiful community atmosphere, so wonderful to join millions of pilgrims who have walked for centuries from every place country nationality, speaking different languages. Buen Camino Thank you St James🤗
Good option for folks wanting to walk pilgrimage but restricted by personal time allowances.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

Really disappointing. We didn't get a single smile from any member of staff throughout our stay; we weren't allowed to use the pool until 5.15pm because there was a function on; and the restaurant said it wouldn't serve us until 8pm (fair enough) but then started handing out menus, setting places etc to a large group at about 7.40pm. The one plus point was that the food was nice. Would not recommend or stay here again: we really wished we had carried on through Sarria and stayed in Barbadelo 3.5km along the Way.
Very modern, good and comfortable bed, great location with a local eatery for dinner a few metres away. Roberto was a fantastic host - what a warm welcome and he was so so helpful regarding my many questions. Thank you Roberto - you made my stay in Sarria very memorable!
