We wanted a chill out break & that’s what we got! The place is so peaceful & quiet , the views of valley & mountains amazing. The road to the property is a little precarious so we stayed put, cooked on the bbq each night & enjoyed the place. Pool is small but water is refreshing to dip in. Wi-if was fine. Big tv with Amazon prime so could watch movies in English. We were first guests so it was missing a few utensils ie kettle, chopping board, wine glasses, but we managed!😬Sofa very uncomfortable. Hope they change that 🙏

On the walking/hiking/biking trails, Yunquera often has visitors throughout the year. Local bar and restaurants are mindful of this, and many of the owners and waiters speak a little English. The old town is idyllic; it seems everyone knows everyone else, and the pedestrianised streets are full of locals chatting. We quickly got into the habit of saying 'Buenas dias' to people as we strolled through the village. There is a good mixture of restaurants, from Por Fin, which is a bar set in a cave below ground - fascinating, to the restaurants on the main street, including for example, Enara, which was just beautiful.
