It has an excellent wood fired sauna, and the smell of fire adds authentic features to the sauna, which impressed me a lot. The location of the cottage is excellent. There are many options in the neighbourhood of the area. Especially spending time in the nature around the lakes in the forest were my best. The time which we spent in the Asikkala was memorable. Asikkala should be in the program of each visitor who has not visited the city earlier.

Absolutely magical. We had the entire lake to ourselves. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights from a canoe one night. This place was perfect and the host was extremely gracious.

We loved this house. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Sauna is great and the house is big and has alot of space and even a very nice sauna. The nature around is stunning and the owner is very nice and helps with every question. Feels just like home. Much recommended.
