As a backpackers surf resort this place is perfect. We stayed in the Frangipan rooms with aircon which was basic. The shop on site was full of nice things. The massage was good and cheap! The pool was nice, and volleyball good. The surf instructor Bruce was great. The grounds were nice.

The room and the facilities were worn out and tired.
The buffet for breakfast was only.
It felt expensive for the experience. This resort does all inclusive so perhaps if I’d have gone for that option I’d have felt it was worth it.

Mould damp smell throughout the hotel. The only good thing was Wicked Walu restaurant, where the food was exceptional. For what we paid, I was pretty disappointed.

The property was clean and the rooms modern. The staff and manager were great. Special call out to Chris who is a charming man. Neel helped me also when I had made an error in my booking that gave me some bill shock. Neel spoke to his manager who was generous towards me.
All the staff spoke to me introducing themselves and were super friendly.
The rooms were clean, the pool epic, the location is on the beach and near the local shops great for getting drinking water.
I was surprised to preorder my food for dinner during the day but it makes sense. Less waste, fresher food and it was cute to get a watsapp with “ Will you be back for dinner, what would you like ?”
Tea and milk was generously refilled.
On my last night in Fiji I had to move to a larger resort where I paid a lot more but did not have as nicer stay.
Coral coast FIJI is a recently renovated apartment in Sigatoka, where guests can take a dip in its pool with a view and make the most of its free WiFi, private beach area and water sports facilities.

Good location, suited me for my short overnight business stay. Very attentive staff. Would be great for family or friend groups looking for a more private, non resort alternative.

Room was clean and spacious with a huge bed. Large, clean bathroom.
Easy to get to from the airport. Take a Sunbeam or Pacific Transport express bus and ask to get off at Maui Palms, then walk up the signposted side road for about 200m.
There's a petrol station with a cluster of restaurants, an ATM and a supermarket about 5 minutes' walk away. You will need to take a torch/phone light at night.
Kitchen available for guests' use.
Small but pleasant pool with sun loungers and a kids' play area.
Fantastic value for the area.
I loved this hotel. I made loads of friends super quick. The staff are ace. There's loads going on, one day I took a boat trip to an island where I went snorkelling and we had lunch (extra cost). The bus was easy to get from Nadi airport, it stops just up the road from the hotel too. I'd recommend bringing a bit of cash as you need them for the excursions. I enjoyed the food too. The beach is beautiful, you can take kayaks out for free which is great. I found my bed comfy too, and there were cupboards to store bags.
Fantastic gem hidden away on the coast. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room and outdoor shower were simple but perfect, and the beach relaxing & activities were lovely. Great for solo travelers looking for a taste of slow Fiji life.
