The Maravu is an absolute gem! It’s been a while since I was sad about leaving a place as good as this. The lodge was beautifully kept, but what really stood out was the incredibly friendly staff who made me feel so welcome. They are always on hand arranging tours, cooking some lovely food and greeting the variety of travellers

The caretakers were awesome. It was easy to organise everything through the owner. Diving and snorkeling next door. Great kitchen set up. Insane views! Comfortable bed and living space . So peaceful and private.

AMAZING stay! Taveuni island resort was even better than we imagined. The staff were so lovely and genuinely welcoming - some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. The location was perfect for all our activities (kayaking, snorkeling, SUP). The sunset views over the ocean at the end of the day are unforgettable. It’s also easy afternoon stroll down to the small supermarkets if you need to grab anything extra where you can see the locals hanging around, or the kids playing volleyball. The meals were delicious and so generous in serving!! Naka to everyone at the resort for a 10/10 experience of Taveuni.

If you're looking for an authentic Fijian experience, this is the place to be. Sarah, Sam and the rest of the family were absolutely adorable and welcomed us with open arms from the moment we landed in Taveuni.
It's cosy and comfortable. Keep in mind that it's a local Fijian home and not a hotel.
Full breakfast is freshly prepared in the morning. It's also possible to have dinner with the family for FJD 40 - the best food we had in Fiji, a delicious feast.
Sam offers tours around the island to main attractions as well in case you don't have a rental car.

We are very happy we made the choice to stay here and get married in this amazing location.
