Very beautiful location typical french along the river very beautiful garden and places to chill around outside.
Staff was very friendly and the owner very pleasant and accommodating! Travelling with 2 kids everything was impeccable very nice baby Crib with beautiful and soft sheet same for the extra bed ! Enough towels in the room. Very much appreciated ! Kids menu was stunning as well as the restaurant!

Wonderful small hotel, remarkable location. Very helpful manager who went with me to park the car. It was not a good idea to try to bring the car up to the hotel while the works in front of the basilique continue. It would have helpful to know this: the parking email had not been updated to indicate the potential problems. Nor had the email about restaurant availability - turns out it wasn’t open when we were there but I’m sure that I would have been told if I had tried to book!

What makes this place marvellous and magical are the people. From the owners to the staff; an exquisite crew of helpful, kind and genuine people.
The room is was offered had an amazing view on the surroundings. Mesmerising vision to wake up or to seen the golden light of the sunset.
Nevertheless the rooms are really basic and outdated, but it comes with the charm of this mystical village. To be repeated…
The Hotel changed of Ownership in April 2024. Set in the national park of Morvan, A La Renommée provides free Wi-Fi internet access, 2 km from the village of Vézelay and 8 km from Bazoches Castle.
