The staff were all very welcoming and helpful in this rural hotel/bar/restaurant. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the hotel has plenty of charming character. Sitting outside having a chilled beer watching the world go by after a day on the road was very much welcomed followed by a magnificent typical ‘higher end’ French rustic meal cooked by the hosts - they could in fact make the starter and main meal slightly smaller so I could have had room for the deserts and cheese board. Breakfast was also very good and set the day up well. They also have locked secure free parking behind the hotel which was important to us.

The host very generously showed us around the stables and fields to see all the horses and foals and tell us about the training that goes on there - we really loved it. A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Lovely views of stables, gardens and duck pond
