The chalet is situated in the most idyllic part of the resort with the river passing right next to it, the little bridge at the front and the breathtaking view of the mountains all around it. The view, ah the view - it is mesmerising! You can stay all day in the living room and enjoy it through the big windows and glass doors or go on the balcony.
The chalet is spacious, clean and very well equipped, there is everything you might need and we felt like at home. Heating is excellent even when outside temperatures are below zero.
Host is very welcoming, kind and helpful. We had a problem with our car and he did everything possible to help us. Forever grateful!

"Les Dolomites" is an apartment block on a hillside on the edge of the village of Gresse en Vercors, a ski resort in winter and a hiking venue in summer, but the flats seemed rather empty and forlorn on a cold wet evening in Spring! Our apartment was a little 'tired' (as estate agents say) and a bit chilly (having been unoccupied for a bit) but it was a good size with bedroom, bathroom, main room (with kitchenette, table and further beds). We had been informed to bring our own sheets. Parking was just a few yards away. Having moved in we went down to the hotel 'Le Chalet' and found a bar that was cheerful and welcoming, as were the staff!. The next day dawned sunny and we realised we had a great view from our balcony - over the pool, the village beyond, and green spaces and a backdrop of mountains. We also spent a while looking around Gresse, reading about its history and walks in the area, rounding off our stay with coffee in the sunny garden of 'Le Serpaton'.

There is a laundrette downstairs and a bakery nearby. And make sure to book a table in local restaurants, they get very busy on weekends.

Fabulous accommodation, restaurant & bar - the staff were delightful, and the half board hotel food so beautifully ‘French’. There’s not much there other than the hotel, but you don’t go to the mountains to be near to a supermarket! Fabulous value for money. Mountains are quite stunning.
Nice village hotel at the entry of the village. It's very nice clean and our room was recently renovated. It had a very nice rain shower. It's very quiet during the night and as such we had a very good sleep. From the swimming pool you do have a very nice view on the mountains.
Stunning location in the mountains, located in a small village, the hotel staff where really friendly we arrived a bit early which was no problem, the room was in a seperate building it was very spacious and well appointed the restaurant meal was fantastic with great service
