L'escapade du bonheur is located in Gundershoffen, just 28 miles from La Petite France and 28 miles from St. Paul's Church.

Inexpensive and with a massive TV. Easy parking. Beds were comfortable, accomodation was spacious. Easy to acess and conveniently next to the route. Double-vitrage appreciated because it was calm and quiet in the flat despite the proximity to the road.

All the people that were on staff are wonderful. Helpful, Caring and totally enjoyable. I would stay there again without thinking about it just because of the people. Breakfast was a delight!

    Nothing here but a bunch of stores, you MUST eat elsewhere because there is nothing in Gundershoffen (and I'd avoid Bitche as well as we ate very poorly there). That's really the issue is finding something decent to eat in the vicinity! Maybe it would have been better to go to Hagenau to eat. In any case, the major sites are all about 1h away.
