The gite is a very large 1 bedroom flat adjacent to the owner's house. The outdoor space is like a fairytale, fantastic garden with loads of different areas to check, including the chicken. The dogs loved the space. Very quiet. A very short drive to local supermarket, pharmacy, etc. A great base to explore Charente.

Logis du paradis is an oasis of calm and comfort. It was the perfect place for us to spend a couple of days relaxing after a hectic weekend at a wedding nearby. Marie-Laure was amazing in recommending local places of interest and helping us book a river cruise in Cognac, and arrange a visit to a local distillery. We had dinner there one evening (book in advance as there's no restaurant), which was beautiful as was breakfast each day, served on the terrace. Great attention to detail and choiceof food. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious with lots of character, including a big, old fireplace. The bathroon was large with a great walk-in shower, and a bath. We also had the use of a shared, fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous place. Highly recommended.

A warm welcome from Ariane who provided a great breakfast in her own home. The converted barn was huge and very comfortable. Very peaceful setting,vines everywhere. The Swimming pool looked very inviting also.
