Beautiful location with very friendly staff. Breakfast was disappointing as choices were quite limited, but stayed for evening meal and this was lovely.

The breakfast was excellent - we chose the 'American' breakfast which i really wasn't sure about, but it exceeded both our expectations and it was perfectly cooked. We will be returning definitely for another breakfast - scrambled eggs, various charcuterie and very fresh oakleaf lettuce, croissants, bread, cheeses and yoghurt and more.. The setting was very, very quiet and the chateaux/castle is very interesting and steeped in history and very French.

Gaiety and elegance are the two words which automatically spring to mind to describe this magnificent 18th-century chateau, a listed building set amongst exquisite French gardens and parkland.

This charming, family-run business exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the host was incredibly helpful, available, and supportive at all times of the day. The chateau is located in a picturesque little village, just 6 km from the coast and several other delightful villages, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Ample on-site parking adds to the convenience. A custom-cooked dinner with a chef can be arranged in advance, though there are plenty of fantastic restaurants just a few kilometres away. The host provided excellent recommendations and even kindly booked a different restaurant for us each night during our stay, which was a wonderful touch. Spa treatments for women can be arranged ahead of time, adding a luxurious option to the experience. There’s also an EV charger conveniently located 100 meters away. Breakfast was truly outstanding, offering a large and varied selection of freshly prepared pastries, breads, cheeses, and cakes, with the menu changing daily to keep things exciting. Overall, this is a gem of a place, combining warmth, exceptional service, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended!
