The receptionist was extremely helpful. Seeing that my wife had some mobility problems she relocated us from a third flooor room to a ground floor one. The hotel had excellent parking and was easy to find. We had a good dinner in their restaurant. Service in the restaurant was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a basic continental style with no hot food offered, but at €8 was quite good value.

There was an issue with the booking… booked 3 rooms and the receptionist stated there were only 2 under our names on their system. The 3rd room “given” was not ready compared to the other 2. Was given an “upgrade room” but was a bit disappointed as the room lead to the outdoor parking area from the back door giving very minimal privacy unless the shutters are down blocking any natural light.

The building was magnificent and the grounds extensive, our room was very comfortable. The quality of food in the restaurant was outstanding, all freshly prepared and food and wine sourced locally.
