Very close to the port, a good stop over if arriving on the evening ferry from Portsmouth. The hotel has good facilities to enable a restful night to prepare for the onward journey.

This Best Western is located in Ouistreham, 1.2 mi from the ferry terminal and 4.3 mi from Normandy's famous landing beaches. Guests can enjoy the outdoor heated pool.

This is a greater property for Ouistreham port, particularly if arriving late. There is someone on reception all night (though obviously better to advise of late arrival). Parking is plentiful, in the hotel grounds. Rooms are spacious enough, very good bathrooms and very good beds and linen. Breakfast, by French standards, is fine. There is now an on-site restaurant which sounds good, but I haven’t had the opportunity to try this. Staff are always professional and pleasant. Tea/coffee making in bedrooms.
