Best hotel I’ve stayed at in years. Perfect in every way, from the room, lovely pool and great decor. Private parking, excellent air conditioning, great food at breakfast and dinner with free snacks and beverages while lounging poolside. All for an incredibly reasonable price. Simply the best!

The Hotel de Mougins is in a great location near a big forest, and one minute from the prestigious Cannes Mougins Golf Club.

The overall experience was ‘decent’ at best. Stay here as a family ‘with caution’.
The reception team were great, however all the other details of a good guest experience were missed. Things they got wrong:
1) Our room phone wasn’t connected but no one did anything about it during our stay. I kept calling them using my mobile phone for 4 nights straight!!!
2) None of their F&B team was attentive to our needs and seemed annoyed
3) Housekeeping & reception were informed our room was dusty, however no improvement was felt and no one checked with us after
4) Room cleaning barely made a different. Please

Mougins is a lovely small town, near Cannes on the French Riviera. There are restaurants, bars, fruit and produce stands and a full-service grocery store; Places to shop, all within reasonable walking distance.
With a car, there are so many interesting and beautiful places to visit. It's a wonderful base to explore the Riviera and I would encourage anyone to visit.

Mougins has changed over time, and we thought we had come back once too often. We have been here over a dozen times in 40 years, and we love it. Several things are less than they were, first being the cuisine. Of course Vergé has passed on, but there seem to be few young chefs aspiring for greatness there. This impression may be partly due to our timing. Several restaurants were seasonally closed. Also, the sculptures all over town of all the fruits and vegetables was rather tasteless, and lent a tawdry appearance. Chic it was not. And moving Commandant Lamy’s statue was an act of disrespect. This was our last trip, but we are grateful for the many happy days we have enjoyed in Mougins.

Mougins is a small and pretty hilltop village with picturesque cobblestone streets, a selection of restaurants (mainly for dinner I think), galleries and views of the mountains and the sea. It is ideally located within 15' minutes from Antibes and Cannes and it's a tranquil and relaxing place to unwind and be in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Mougins (old town) is so picturesque.
Mougins (old town) is so picturesque. It’s a beautiful place full of good restaurants and lots of art. We would highly recommend l’Amandier, which serves lovely food and has a beautiful view, if you’re lucky enough to get a table outside. We also enjoyed Au Rendez-vous in the Square, although the best tables are for 2 or 3 people.
There’s a waterpark less than half an hour away, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.
