Love the location except that the Eiffel Tower balcony room literally faces a soccer field. Also, the staff held me up for a cash bribe in order to check in earlier. Then, they overcharged me by $100 and are refusing to respond to the discrepancy. They will steal from you so decide if it’s worth it for the soccer field view and partial view of the tower. We won’t be doing it again.

The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful throughout our stay. The hotel lacked basic amenities — we even ran out of drinking water and couldn’t find any available on-site.
The room design was poorly thought out. For instance, the bathroom had no sink and it was oddly placed right next to one of the beds, which made things quite uncomfortable.
While the location is decent (around a 10-minute walk from M13 metro), and the price was relatively fair, the overall experience fell short. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
NH Paris Gare de l'Est hotel is located opposite Gare de l’Est Train and Metro Station, which provides direct access to attractions such as Saint-Michel and the Latin Quarter.

Hotel Staff is very helpful and friendly, the hotel lobby is under construction, not noted when booking, hotel room was comfortable but needs some updating

It wasn’t an hotel we expected a lot from and the room wasn’t that big but it was good enough for us. We enjoyed staying there cause the metro is close and the room had enough beds for our family. The beds were nice and the bathroom was nice too. We really enjoyed it! Thank you

Fell in love with the city. Everyone will find something for their tastes here. For sure I will come here for a second and perhaps a third time.
The only thing that weighs on you after a few days is the crowds of people, but otherwise this place is lovely.
Just be careful around Eiffel Tower - plenty of scammers there.

Paris is a beautiful city with a lot to see and do, we did a lot of walking and used taxis when we needed to go further afield. I was turned off the Metro due to my wallet being stolen by a pick pocket on it which i was told happens quite a bit, but overall Paris is a lovely city to visit.

Paris just seems to get dirtier and more difficult to move around in every time I visit. Hotels are getting ridiculously expensive, travelling around the city is horrible, the metro stations and bus routes are a mess to navigate, and the place just gets more crowded, stinkier and filthier. Thieves and pick pockets are rampant.

Very busy with tourists but still plenty outdoor space for everyone.
If you want to inside to visit main attractions book ahead!!!
Notre Dame is fabulous with its renovation post fire.
Join the queue for mass & you will get inside quicker, after you have taken the guided outside tour.
The gardens are beautiful, especially Luxembourg Gdns.
Really fabulous to see so many people have coffee or wine outside the many cafes & restaurants, even so close to the traffic!!
Batton Rouge trip, with dinner is very good. Good food& great service
La Coupole, in Montparnasse is excellent for dinner ; food & service

Paris is amazing for a short break or get-away. It can be a bit expensive, so make sure to search for affordable places. The city is also quite big, so be prepared to walk a lot, or pay for public transport to get from A to B.

The trip was amazing!
The trip was amazing! I wasn’t expecting that tbh, because I had heard a lot of unpleasant things about Paris, but for me it was one of the loveliest cities I’ve been to 10000%.
The city is architecturally unified and clean, people are nice (probably because I speak French), a lot of queues and this is expected because there are a lot of tourists, but you can buy all tickets online (and yet you’ll still be in line for the people with tickets, but anyway you’ll get there earlier then those without tickets).
I didn’t like the experience with public transport though - it’s hard to buy tickets, and you need to buy them which is not quite my thing (in UK for instance you can pay by card directly on bus or in underground, in Ukraine you can pay in underground too, though not sure about buses).
Of course you need to be aware of different frauds and possible scams, but it’s like that in any city with a lot of tourists, and we are used to keep our belongings close.
The city is huge, but all the major places of interest are relatively close, so you can walk (if you like walking).
The food was delicious, especially pastries.
Better to plan your visit well beforehand to catch better prices for hotels as they are quite expensive (the good ones) and at a low season to be able to stand in lines not too much.
Children up to 18 years usually have free admission to most of the places like museums etc, and students of EU countries have free admission up to 26 years old. You'll need your passport or ID cards for that.

The Hotel was super clean, which is really not commen in Paris! The bed was very comfortabel and in the 5th floor I had a little french balcony. Overall I must say it was the best hotel in Paris I stayed in for that budget and will book it again. I booked it without breakfast and there are plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars around.
The staff was very nice and spoke english.
We had a nice and quiet room on 4th floor. Staff was available 24h and the location of the hotel is amazing! Public parking is on the same street and cost 16$ per day which is very cheap for Paris. All area seems to be really safe! We can definitely recommend this hotel!
Everything. It was very clean. 25 min away from city centre in metropolitan. Great value for money. It is a cheap place to be in Paris. You have everything you need to cook, besides the stuff members were very nice.
this hotel is old and a bit rundown but so much cheaper than anything else in Paris, the staff are super nice and the rooms are cleaned every day. Would stay again.
