The hosting couple were very kind and friendly and helped me with directions and stored my bicycle safely for me. The bedroom was large with a lovely private bathroom adjoining the room. The house has been decorated beautifully and there is a lovely mezzanine games room available to use outside the bedroom. The hosts gave me a lovely rose quartz as a memento of my stay, which was very thoughtful.

La Marine is set in a lovely place and very close to the water with a lovely view.
The hotel is clean, tidy and has everything you need. The shower in our room was particularly good. Very hot water and powerful.
We had breakfast the next day, a selection of pastries and cereal, with fresh juice and a selection of teas and coffees, the breakfast was extra for us as we were unsure if we would have breakfast there. It cost €9 each, so very well priced.
The staff were very friendly and dealt with us with our very basic French.
Would stay there again as it is very close to the ferry and ideal if you are a late ferry and would like somewhere close nearby that offers food, bed and breakfast.
After 7 p.m. you seldom see somebody walking in the streets.
After 7 p.m. you seldom see somebody walking in the streets. Plouescat cannot be compared with Roscoff.
If you want to jog or walk, from Hyppodrome Marin de Plouescat to Menfig or even to Cam Louis would be fine, in fact quite nice due to viewpoints.
Beware, basically there are no sidewalks in Pont Christ. Mainly 'downtown' are sidewalks to be found.
In Pont Christ you have two restaurants in Brit Hotel&Spa and the nearby restaurant of the Casino (rue de Brest). Otherwise you have to drive several minutes to get your meal. Almost never can you get in Plouescat something to eat between 2 p.m.and 7 p.m. Most stores observe the 'siesta pause'.
We found La Danteliere creperie ok to our taste, but you need to make reservations. They are open only at noon for 2 hours (noon till some 2 p.m.), and in the evening for 3 hours (starting 7 p.m.; Wed. closed)

A very cute little coastal town, not far from some beautiful beaches along the Finistère coast (some accessible on foot but ideal if you have a car). If you are travelling here with a car I recommend also visiting Guissény during the day (only about 25 minutes away), where the beaches are even more beautiful with white sand. The beaches were hardly populated at all (at the weekend, end of June).

25 minutes drive from Roscoff ferry port.
25 minutes drive from Roscoff ferry port. Very little else to commend it.
Because the hotel restaurant was closed and the only other restaurant nearby was fully booked I had to eat sandwiches obtained from a local supermarket, so no hot meal! I found that unacceptable. For my next trip (in March-April) I have booked to stay at the Logis Hôtel Fontaine in Morlaix. This is further wasy from Roscoff but I think the hotel will be more reliable.

Our host Marlene was great especially as we were late due to car issues arriving at nearly 9 oclock at night. Loved that she was so welcoming even showing us how to work the sofa bed for my elderly father if he couldn't manage the stairs. The welcome box of fruit and vegetable was much appreciated. We really liked the closeness to the beaches of Plouescat (dog friendly) only a few minutes car drive away and sand dunes of Keremma which were ten minutes away.
Excellent welcome and incredibly helpful staff. Superb breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Also very helpful in providing safe place for our bicycles. The G45 Cycle Route and Coastal Footpath run right past the front of the hotel. Because of the very low tides when we were there I walked up the coast path to get to Porz Meur for a swim.
Incredible location, this beautiful little hotel sits right on the edge of the bay, stunning views.
Very well appointed room, lovely terrace overlooking the bay with seating area.
Very helpful and welcoming staff.
Food was absolutely incredible, art on the plate and the palate.
Location, room, restaurant and staff were excellent. The price was reasonable and I felt very welcome.
The setting of the hotel is spectacular and I very much enjoyed my stay.
