Amazing hostess! She runs a restaurant a couple hundred meters from the property that serves very good food at fair prices. The bed and pillows were great. The hottub was great, very privately located. An amazing bakery only 5min walk. Hiking/biking path runs in front of the door. Private garden for the dog!

It was a short drive to Mont Saint Quentin a renown WW1 battle field for Australians as well as the fortress town of Laon. Think Hindenburg Line meets medieval ... including the knights Templar! Chickens, Donkey and the Host were marvellous and really made the stay. The Host is very welcoming and accommodating she is also currently converting the barn into more apartments. There are supermarkets in a village 5 minutes away.
