We were close to all of the DDAY museums for Omaha Beach...
We were close to all of the DDAY museums for Omaha Beach that we wanted to visit. The American Cemetery was walkable from our hotel. Omaha Beach was located in the middle of the visits to the other four DDAY beaches. Perfect for visiting all the D-day beaches and All allied invasion museums would highly recommend this area if interested in WW2 history. Beautiful beaches and stunning countryside and so much easier to travel on French roads than the uk.Guest review byJonUnited Kingdom

Location is excellent if you want to visit Omaha Beach which is straight across the road 50m, but behind a house in front of the hotel. It is about 100m walk up the road the hotel is on to the WW2 pill box which was a major feature of the invasion. There are many story boards around there explaining what happened on D Day.
