The location is convenient to the Puy du Fou park. We liked staying in a castle at a reasonable price. The George Sand is a very pretty and spacious room with a private bathroom in the tower. The owners were friendly and accommodated an evening arrival. Dinner is at a large table so it’s very convivial. The menu is a fixed price but they didn’t mind opening another bottle of wine. The food was good, made from ingredients purchased at the local market.
