We had a wonderful stay at La Parenthèse. Having the whole of the top floor ( bedroom , sitting area with tea & coffee facilities ,bathroom & toilet) to ourselves was a real bonus. The accommodation was very comfortable and we had a peaceful night’s sleep. The hosts were lovely people and we were treated more like family than paying guests. We enjoyed a very nice dinner and evening both of which we shared with the hosts. We also enjoyed a varied and plentiful breakfast including eggs, yoghurt, homemade Brioche with homemade jams . We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and will certainly be returning. Thank you Corinne & Lélio for a memorable stay.

The restaurant never disappoints.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the bathroom facilities make for a lovely stay.

A peaceful place, it's a piece of heaven in the valley of Loire.
Good location just few meters from the Domain Chaumont sur Loire.
The room is spacious and clean, relaxing and cozy, in the middle of nature but with all comforts.
The bed is wow! The best sleep I have had in the last 10 years.
The shower is so relaxing, I'd never get out of it!
Also the restaurant Le Grand Chaume is remarkable, great food and service. At the end of the dinner, the chef came to our table to know our opinion of the food and offered some mini desserts, and they were very tasty!

Sambin, overall, does not have a lot to offer. There are a lot of chateaux available in the area, but I do think there are better small towns to stay in that have access to restaurants and shops. If you visit Sambin, definitely visit the zoo!
