It is a lovely oldish building and had an effortless charm to it. It is set in lovely grounds. I have become tired of driving into cities for a hotel and was looking for a hotel in the countryside and this ticked all the boxes. We will go back to explore the area and the hotel grounds. The bath was great too!

Nice hotel & friendly staff. The spa was also very nice to use while I was there.

We stayed unexpectedly having had a car crash and taken to hospital in the town. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful or empathetic. Thank you. Breakfast was good and good value. The adjacent pizzeria - part of the company - sells excellent gallettes. There were some low level maintenance issues around the place; loose sockets so all the ones in our (cheap) room didn't work, that kind of thing
