Authentic house in a charming French small town. We were here only one night, but the owner Rebecca made our stay really worthwhile. The kids could swim in the pool (really clean and neat) after 7 pm and after breakfast again before we continued our journey. The breakfast that we enjoyed under the tree in the lovely garden behind the house, was with nice French bread (two types), yoghurt, home made jams, coffee and juice. We had to make a small detour to get here, but I'm glad we did! Rebecca communicates in a nice personal manner before we got there and answers all questions in a quick manner.

Beautiful room, quiet at night. Right next to the canal, the restaurant recommended by the landlady was pretty good. This wasn’t the sort of place we normally stay, it was like a film about southern France, a bit unreal, and full of tourists, mostly English. Nevertheless we really liked it, it was relaxing, beautiful and fun
The Chateau is absolutely beautiful. Wonderfully maintained with beautiful garden where meals are served, and a great swimming pool. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was beautiful. Aircon was of a very high standard which was great as it was quite hot when we stayed. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the soft drinks in the fridge along with coffee pods were greatly appreciated. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We dined in the hotel restaurant both nights and I cannot compliment our waitress highly enough. She helped with menu recommendations and was so kind to our young children. The food was superb, definitely to a very high standard, and the wine menu was extensive. The accompanying meals for our children were also very well considered, our children enjoyed both fresh fish and roasted chicken with seasonal vegetables during the 2 nights, along with child friendly starters and deserts. The chef even took an extra step to ensure the meals for our 2 year old were chopped into child size bites before serving, a simple extra step but one which we felt was very considerate. Our children loved the pool, and I also used the Spa during our stay, which was excellent.
Overall we had a fabulous stay at Chateau De Siran, and would definitely recommend it. Siran is also a beautiful village, we really enjoyed strolling around, and the local boulangerie was as good as the reviews.
