The host was giving us a pleasant time. Lots of suggestions were to go in addition to what we had planned. We could use his new remodeled shower bath. Funny to say, that we were not careful when selecting this stay, because usually we like our own room with bathroom attached. But this was so lucky for us because we enjoyed the talk with our host so much. And he has a very beautiful house, too. Thank you very much!

We arrived very late in heavy rain. The receptionist was fabulous. Underground parking with access to the hotel. Bed was super comfortable. New hotel right next to the chateau. What a great breakfast. Another place that we will 100% going back to and going to stay at the Campanile. Only €14,50 to visit the outstanding Fontainebleau Chateau.

Location is perfect. Short walk to a beautiful area of shops and restaurants and across the road from the chateau. The old rabbit warren building was charming (though request a first floor room if you have a lot of luggage!) and our room looked out onto a beautiful street.

The location and accommodation is perfect to complement a trip to the Fontainebleau! The grounds are extensive but it is easy to explore on the bikes provided. The owners are very welcoming. The rooms all have their own history, which individual decor. As is to be expected in a property like this, bathrooms are all very clean but slightly dated. Breakfasts was an extra 17 euros/ person/ day, which seemed quite expensive given there were no hot options or even boiled eggs included.

We found this to be the perfect location for Fontainebleau, we had a room at the front with a glorious view of the Chateau and after a long road trip all over Europe we felt immersed in the history and beauty of the place as soon as we arrived. It was easy to find being right on the square in front of the Chateau and parking was easy. The building itself was elegant, historic and beautifully furnished with a small library of books, an honesty bar stocked with excellent wine and a panelled living room where my son and his daddy enjoyed a game of chess. We received a warm welcome and got some great tips for bouldering and walks in the forest which my son absolutely loved.

I highly recommend Aigle Noir Fontainebleau MGallery. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, and they care about guest requests. It’s also in a great location, close to Fontainebleau Palace. A comfortable and welcoming stay overall!
