Got a voice call on my way down to Aberystwyth to tell me that my room was cancelled and had to go to another hotel so I did'nt stay at Queensbridge. Very disapointed as I was traveling alone and this made me very anxious.

A good example of a victorian seaside town but not on the scale of Llandudno. Plenty of things to do for a couple of days but be prepared to travel within 20mile radius of so to see other villages and landmarks if you want to fill a week . We were only down for a day / night and the weather was fantastic but would have struggled if it was raining .
If you have not visited the area then its worth a see.

Very pleasant little town.
Very pleasant little town. Lovely to walk around and enjoy the views, especially from Constitution Hill. My partner and I had dinner at Athro Lounge and breakfast at Little Devil's Café - both were a nice surprise as the food and staff were brilliant.

University, Constitution Hill, Castle and war Memorial very interesting. The promenade was well kept and the evening murmuration of starlings to their overnight perch on the pier was fascinating.
Very disappointing that the tourist information office/museum was closed on Sunday, despite sign on its door stating it opens 10.00 - 16.00 on Sundays.

It’s a wonderful mixture of seaside, old style beach and university. Walked up to the monument on PenDinas, town castle is a great visit. The prom is a lovely 1 mile walk . We watched the starling murmuration arrive in the evening and depart in the morning … from the bay window of the flat . Perfection.

The directions we received on how to get in were perfect, and out of the 3 hotels we stayed at, we had our best night sleep at the Pier hotel, the room was a lovely temperature considering it was cold outside and we saw the owner in the morning and they seemed lovely, If I was to go to Aberystwyth again, Id stay at the Pier
