The shepherds hut was lovely warm and cozy and a nice quirky experience.
The pub was lovely, the staff were very welcoming and helpful especially Steve, Finn and Sam and so were all the locals. Met some lovely people.
Just what we wanted a nice quiet base with access to some gorgeous walks.

Sara was very welcoming and although we opted out for breakfast, they offered to give us an early start which was appreciated. Lovely coffee and bottled water and milk in the room. Great shower.

The location was perfect, picturesque views in every direction. Good food for a reasonable price and breakfast included was a bonus which I didn’t actually realise till we were checking out! Only thing I would say is you have to walk through the busy pub on a night to leave and get back to your room as there’s no separate door but it wasn’t the end of the world.
