NetherlandsHonestly, I cannot recommend this more - I had the absolute best stay this weekend at The Fox! The staff was insanely kind and helpful, the room and facilities were on par with what I expected - if not better - and the cleanliness and comfort of the room made me feel so relaxed. I enjoyed this stay so much and would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families alike! The restaurant & bar is the cherry on top, where I was able to have a delicious British Sunday roast :)

Baldock is a lovely town. The days inn hotel isn't actually in baldock centre, it sits just off the A1 nearer to Letchworth. As its a service station there's a nice selection of fast food and a couple of shops for essentialsGuest review byAnonymous - Review score

The lady on the front desk was great, very helpful. Spare sofa bed wasn't made up, there were stains on it so she gave us extra bedding to cover it. We made do. Although we wanted to walk out but at late notice, I would have lost money and trying to get a Premier Inn late notice would have been hard. The whole place should be updated and painted at least to make it look modern and welcoming to guests. Open windows before guests arrive to take the musty smell out as well. Breakfast was just about ok but could do with a small canteen instead of having breakfast near the entrance. The rooms need updating Tv not watchable Needs a tray under the kettle and cups Not enough power points. Makes an excellent base for exploring round about Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. There are excellent aircraft museums within easy reach, but those weekends with air displays can lead to congestion on the access roads near Duxford.Guest review byRoderickUnited Kingdom

The house is in a pleasant and quiet rural location close to small and characterful villages but with ready access to the A1 and with the small town of Baldock 10 minutes drive away. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent: beautifully presented and cooked and very substantial and served in a light and airy room.
