Enjoyed the variety on offer, the only thing that I would like to say is the food could be a little hotter.

The evening dinner and craft beer were both excellent.
Bed was over soft, could do with being firmer.
The breakfast i thought was included in the rate but wasn't but i was surprised that my small breakfast was good value

A hotel with lot of character. Old fashioned but very charming. Aurther was super professional and helpful. We got the family room which was large. The bathroom was modern. Water pressure great! Tea coffee in the room. In morning there was light breakfast with cereals, milk, juices, toast yogurt etc. the dining area was huge with bright light. If I were a writer I would have chosen this quiet hotel for a longer lovely stay. That sums it up!
Are was so clean and lovely just like it’s people.
Are was so clean and lovely just like it’s people. Very well-mannered and professional. We went to beach where was only 7mins drive from the hotel, ordered chinese takeaway within the area, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, play area just near the hotel private car park. If you are Catholic, there’s also a church 2mins walk away.
More places to go to but sadly, because of the rain, we were not able to walk around much.

Dead town, do not go.
Dead town, do not go. Even the locals told us "there is absolutely nothing to do here unless you like pubs". They were not wrong. Half the restaurants were closed, no high streets. I think locals go to Tesco for fun.
Go to Ulverston.

Town is extremely ugly and there is absolutely nothing to do there. The nature is very nice, and that is the only reason why we decided to go there. I honestly think I have never been in a more depressing town in the UK.

Barrow in Furness is not a holiday location compared to Blackpool, Skegness, etc., and the town centre is rundown—clean but rundown.
Everyone was friendly and, from a Bar point of view, relatively cheap.
I can highly recommend Dodona restaurant for a lovely Greek meal!
If you are in the car, everything is on tap: Costa, Maccies, BK, Cinemas, JD Sports, Sports Direct, ASDA, LIDL, ALDI, Tesco, B&Q and loads of other types of shopping centres.
Car parking is readily available in all areas, and the town centre parking has both Ring and cash options.
The area is highly industrialised in my eyes, and it's quite a trip to the beach—but at least there is a nice cafe. If you are up for a walk, there is a Pub on the beach, but it's a good 30 minutes' walk.
I recommend staying outside the area for a holiday (Roanhead Bech, for example), as there are loads of options available - Camping, Caravaning B&B Hotels and some Static caravans (All the beaches are Dog-Friendly from what I saw). Barrow has everything you need from a shopping point of view. So you won't go without anything.
There are loads of oneway systems in the town, so consider that when driving around.

Just a couple of days during poor weather was a little boring as there were not enough activities (adults or kids). During the summer, and knowing whre to visit, this would be an excellent location. Hotel I stayed at was high class / great value.

We went specifically to explore Walney Island, the Wildlife Reserve, and the surrounding area. Walney was busier than I expected, the Reserve was delightful, and we also visited Askham, Millom, Ulverston and the Morecambe Bay coastline.

I was really disappointed how the power cut at the hotel was handled. I was left without any light for the entire evening till the following morning at 4.45 am. I appreciate that this was out of the hands of the hotel but they could not even provide me with a torch for my room and no apologies or suggestions of a refund was given and the staff were very inhelpful, I will be looking for different accomadation for my work visits to Barrow in Furness in the future.
The welcome was warm and the room was absolutely gorgeous. It was a real treat to have a fridge on the room as well as the tea and coffee stuff. The en-suite was small but lovely. The hotel is perfectly located in the town centre and our room was quiet.
This was just a quick flying visit to catch up with family.
Hotel is conveniently located in town centre and there's parking available.
Efficient friendly staff on arrival and the check in procedure was quick and seamless.
