Staff so welcoming and friendly. Dylan on reception was awesome! Nothing was a bother to him, he was so happy to deal with any of our requests! Always full of a smile, he deserves employee of the month award. Also at breakfast Monali was so so attentive and helpful again any ask was not a problem for help so friendly.
We loved the swimming pools and sauna steam room
Rooms comfortable and cleanliness was exceptional. Thank you Hampshire Royal Court hotel for a wonderful couple of days.

Such a lovely place - easy to find yet not in a busy location, spotlessly clean and well appointed, everything worked (!) and hosts were lovely. I hope I have reason to stay again one day!

Accessibility of the location from the train station and to my event venue in Basingstoke. Location of site is along the main road with bus facility.
The heating needs to be regulated by the owner b4 guests come in so that there's no issue feeling cold, especially as we are getting into winter.
A warmer duvet is required in order to keep warm through the night.
I suggest that every guest is required at least an unopened 50mls of bottled milk in fridge for tea/coffee and not half that looks like it has perviously been opened and used.
Overall, Wessex House is purely a place to be, as it has no odour and no smoking is allowed.
I ate at my event, brought some food that I enjoyed Wessex House Microwave Facility. That was amazing.

I travelled in by train and the station is right opposite the big shopping centre, lots of shops inside and places to eat and drink. More shops outside too, again with lots of choices for places to eat and drink. Big cinema on site and a flip out too (trampoline park). If you fancy a coffee, there is a small coffee shop inside the Apricot clothing shop on the lower floor. Very reasonably priced and staff serving were lovely too. Had a lovely few days in Basingstoke. :-)

The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything needed.
The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything needed. There were good facilities at the hotel - dining room, seating area, bar, good parking and was easily accessible. The reception staff were helpful and friendly.
The hotel is situated within easy reach of the M3 and also Basingstoke. And I feel it was reasonably priced

Small town that has a really good shopping centre with a wide choice of the normal and more unusual shops. There are plenty of places to eat, cinema complex, theatre and a good selection of places to park.

A great mixture of old and new: new shopping mall cleverly melded into "old town". Very well looked after and litter-free. Lots of indoor activities especially for children and young families.
Excellent range of properties for folk wanting to settle there (with good access to London).
Lots of road works but probably a passing phase.

West View Lodge was an excellent stay on my journey South. Debbie and Paul were very welcoming which was a great start. The facilities are brilliant and this provides a very comfortable stay. I was also able to store my bicycle safely and securely. I fully recommend West View Lodge to anyone looking for accommodation in the Basingstoke area
Excellent location. Room was clean and well serviced. Bed a bit too soft for me and the gym was rather noisy. Overall it was good and I will stay there again when I come back to Basingstoke.
Adjacent free parking and town centre location was convenent for social meal. Hotel reception looks tired and room was functional amd clean but without anything to make it feel exceptional.
