We didnt explore Bracknell that much but it seemed to have a busy shopping centre and plenty of underpasses to navigate away from thr main road. It was close to Legoland and easy to find
It was close to Legoland and easy to find There were enough restaurants and other distractions to occupy the evenings if you so wish However the hotel felt more like a gym ／spa that had a few rooms attached to it rather than a proper hotel. There was no phone in the room to contact reception..and the room itself lacked a central light in the main room. We booked the hotel to get away from the mess of our new kitchen being installed so it was a break not a holiday. The dining room wasn't open on the Monday night so we had to use the Bier Kellar which wasn't to our taste so we went out to eat on the second night. Unfortunatly, the internet wasn'good which was a problem as I was working (I couldn't send E-Mails with attachments). We couldn't understand the reasoning behind the heating in the room having to use a small mobile electric radiator. It should be emphasised that this is a sports venue with rooms, not the usual hotel. It is probably very good at catering for that segment of the public, but not the older generation. The hotel got a swimming pool, but again I haven't been able to use it, hopefully next time. The room is spacey, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient and accommodated our need for 2 ground floor rooms next to each other. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and the facilities at the hotel were excellent.
