Hotel is just off main road, there is a cafe ,shop near by. They had not long redecorated our room, the floor was wood laminate floor, and had a couple of paint marks still on it, also the room floor was dusty with some bits on it.
Breakfast is a buffet style on top floor.

We loved the breakfast. 2 boiled eggs, good quality brands of cheese, yogurts, fresh warm bread and croissants, good coffee and orange juice. Excellent stay. Many thanks to Chris our wonderful host, who found our padlock key on the bed and put it in a plastic bag tied to our luggage transfer!

Location was great! Friendly staff, endless walks to explore locally or only a short drive to Loch Lomond or glencoe if you wish to explore a little further. Great variety of tea in the room, coffee and hot chocolate!

Keep in mind that hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to relay on their bar& restaurant menus , not a cheap one. The nearest shop is 8 km away in Tyndrum.
Hotel has fantastic view and plenty choices for short or long walking or hiking.

Lovely hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had arrived after 4 days of walking and it was a a lovely sight to see the hotel. We had a delicious dinner, and breakfast in the restaurant. They also made us packed lunches for the following days walking which were delicious and very well received!
