Great location - walking distance from town centre and the beach, easy to find.
Staff was polite and friendly, room was just as described - having shower in the room is a great addition as you only 'share' a toilet which is on a hallway and you get your key for it.
There is a choice of breakfast from the menu which is prepared fresh using local produce so that's a big plus!
Everything was clean.

The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was hard and I thought I would struggle to sleep, but it was great, had a very good sleep in the end. Very happy with the accommodation. Very thoughtful leaving bottles of water in reception. You can see the owner is an organised and practical person and they have a passion for the industry. The little detail, lights above the room number is a nice touch. The common area is in need of some tender loving care. Assume this is due to people coming in and out with suitcases and scuffing the walls. But the room was very clean and look newly refurbished. Great find! I will use this accommodation again.

Stayed in the Ali room for first two nights, then extended another two nights in the Star Wars room, all at discounted rates. The detail in both rooms was really extraordinary and a great way to cap off an otherwise more rugged backpacking trip for myself. Also, I was unexpectedly surprised by how good the range of water temperatures in the shower - very relaxing and better than a lot of other places I stayed at. You could spend a long time gazing at the walls of the place, like a museum. Staff (Alice, Lily) were super-helpful and friendly.

Known for colorful nightlife and traditional English seaside pursuits, Brighton and nearby Hove are the closest beach resorts to London, making them popular end points for classic car runs from the capital. Many end at the racetrack, a few streets from Brighton Marina, Europe’s largest, housing several shops and eateries. Many Brighton guesthouses on Booking.com are also nearby.
Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric train, ending by Brighton Pier. Lit up at night and also known as Palace Pier, this city icon houses amusements and rides, and is one place to pick up some famous Brighton Rock, the confectionery sharing its name with an edgy Graham Greene novel set here.
A new addition, the Brighton Wheel is right by the pier, while one of its most famous attractions is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal retreat built in Indian style.
Just west are 2 of the most popular Brighton shopping spots – Churchill Square shopping center and The Lanes with its narrow streets and unusual shops. This area also has several Brighton hotels with parking, and the Artists Quarter, a series of ex-fishing huts that are now galleries. Brighton is a vibrant city with a wealth of restaurants, lots of quirky independent shops and great pubs. The music venues are great and there’s always places to go in the evening.
BUT it’s hilly and the beach is full of pebbles, the food on the seafront is expensive and there’s literally no street parking anywhere so be prepared to walk or sign up to Uber. I’d seriously think of getting the train rather than bringing the car because it’s less than an hour by train from London.

Brighton is a quirky place, marked by its easy-going eccentricity. This time we enjoyed our customary strolls around the pier, the Lanes, the promenade, North Laine and a day trip to Lewes. Then there were excellent meals and drinks at Burnt Orange, The Lion and Lobster, the Basketmakers, and Bills. The Monday afternoon jazz session at the Paris House is typical of Brighton's special vibe.

The variety and seaside. Excellent restaurants. I ate at CinCin and The little fish market in the evening. Fantastic! Brunch at Rust was great and the bakery in Kemptown superb. I loved running along the sea front to Saltdean and Hove as well as the marina . The views from Devils Dyke were amazing. The Lanes have some interesting independent shops.

A real gem . Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean . Our charming host Peter helped carry out bags in and told us a lot about the area including really good recommendations on where to eat . Although slightly small the room was lovely with the best stocked hospitality tray I've seen and lovely toiletries. We were very lucky with the weather and the location was perfect for exploring Brighton ..
I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel .
Excellent location with plenty of nearby places to eat and drink in particular. Beach a 2 minute walk away. Nearby electric bike hire to zip into Brighton, costing less than £2, or a 15 min slow stroll. Comfortable place to stay with everything we wanted. Quirky instructions to add fabulous character to an already wonderful property. Double bed seems to be memory foam, honestly the best nights sleep in ages.
We'll definitely be back.
We booked this hotel for a 2 night break as we were attending Brighton on the beach festival. The location was great the room was very quirky and modern absolutely loved the decor the breakfasts were amazing the best veggie breakfast ive ever had the bar was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful too lovely stay we would defo book again and bring out doggie next time as we seen it was doggie friendly
Room was spacious, had everything you would need including dressing gowns, White Company toiletries.
There was a small gluten free table at the breakfast buffet.
Right on the beach, excellent location for walking around Brighton. The central hotel area is really light and airy.
The hotel was very accommodating and I wasn't expecting valet parking (very impressive) the rooms were spacious and the bed was the best I've slept in for ages. Will certainly be returning next time I'm in Brighton
