Great location, spacious cottage, good parking. A lovely patio garden to the rear, well maintained however unable to sit outside due to neighbours dogs constantly barking every time we went outside or the door was open.
The Midland offers an excellent seafront location and this Grade II* listed Art Deco design building features free Wi-Fi, rooms with attached bathroom, a stylish interior an on-site bar.

Carnforth is not the most attractive of towns, but it makes up for it with its history as a railway town and the role it played in the 1940s film 'Brief Encounter', Film buffs and railway enthusiasts will love the Heritage Centre based in the station itself, which is staffed by very knowledgeable volunteers who will help make your visit really interesting.
Carnforth has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and is very well- placed for exploring Morecambe Bay and the Southern Lakes.

Carnforth is a small town with a range of shops that can meet everyone's needs. It's a very good base to use for touring the Morecambe Bay area, as it's just off the M6 near Junction 35 and it has a mainline train station. From there you can get trains south to Lancaster and to Morecambe, round the west coast of the Lake District up to Carlisle, up to Glasgow and Windermere and down to Manchester, Birmingham and London, and over the Pennines to Yorkshire. It's surrounded by some of the nicest countryside in the north-west, and it's an easy drive to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The Lancaster Canal runs through it - good for flat towpath walks - and Warton Crag is just a mile or so away for uphill walks and lovely views across Morecambe Bay.

There is plenty to see and do in the area. good choice of supermarkets close by, great for self caterers We ate at the Waters Edge on site and longlands hotel, The Lunesdale Arms near Kirkby Lonsdale. We visited Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle, both worth a visit, however people with mobility problems would struggle with the many stairs in both of them. The gardens at both places are magnificent.

This accommodation was lovely, we had a very comfortable stay. Beds were comfy and there was even milk in the fridge to make tea and coffee - which was also supplied The accommodation had everything you could need eg hair dryers in each bedroom, etc...
There was a hotel a 5 min walk away which served nice food.
The staff members were really lovely and helpful.
The hotel is in a fantastic area for sightseeing and going to places like Morecambe and Lancaster very quickly.
My friend and I visited the cliff edge within around an hour and a half-round trip (Photo attached).
Absolutely gorgeous area.
