Quietly situated in one of Cirencester’s oldest streets, this delightful, privately owned hotel and restaurant is just 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

The location was excellent, a five minute walk into town , but on the edge so you didnt have to drive through the one way system to get out. The breakfast was extensive and the staff very helpful. Every where was constantly being cleaned.

Really great. The Lake view room was excellent with a massive bed, with 6 pillows, very big TV on the wall. Lots of electric sockets. Nice bathroom. Beautiful views across the lake through the floor to ceiling windows that are virtually the full width of the bedroom. From the bed, you can see the sunrise and the swans floating around in the morning and the moon reflecting in the lake at night.
Fantastic top quality food in the Boat House ( lamb shank so tender and also the best ever and biggest fish & chips ) Can't fault the quality of the buffet breakfast in The Brasserie although they have the usual problem with Latte from the coffee machines being only luke warm.
The Gateway Cafe menu looks quite pricey (£9.50 for a toasted sandwich), but the quality of their food is excellent.
The location is great and we enjoyed a walk around the lake and a drive through the lovely local villages.
Our one night stay was very relaxing and felt like we were away for much longer.
We definitely recommend staying at The DeVere and we will return to stay again.

For me a 4* at best. Staff, breakfast and location were great, but the rooms were extremely small, pokey, unable to open one of the windows, very dark, extremely hot with no aircon and not quiet (we were on the main road). The hallways seemed dirty. Definitely far inferior to other 5* hotels il stayed in.
Located in a 17th century town house, The Old Brewhouse is a charming and characterful bed and breakfast. Free parking is possible on site, and free Wi-Fi is accessible in certain areas.

The museum was really interesting.
The museum was really interesting. I enjoyed markets and shops with everyone very friendly. Some good restaurants and no hills for those less mobile. This town is not the easiest to reach by public transport as it only has buses but quite a few car parks around.
The town has a welcoming feel

Cotswold Hare is located in a convenient location in Cirencester with a short walk to the town centre. On arrival we were greeted graciously by our host Kathleen who made us feel welcome. The place itself is very clean and has all the necessary amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast and appreciated the small gestures which did not go unnoticed. Overall a great place to stay and base yourself in the Cotswold and we will definitely visit again.
Great location on the edge of Cirencester so easily accesible by car but a very easy 5min walk into the town centre. The staff were exceptional when greeting and showing you to your room, everyone we met was very friendly! The breakfast included was very good and a high standard, and the room was spotless and had great facilities. A great place to stay to access Cirencester and the rest of the Cotswolds!
The hotel was of very high quality. The room was luxurious and a great place to stay. Access to the pantry for milk and extra water was a useful bonus. The food was first rate at both dinner and breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful.
We were given an upgrade to a suite which was a lovely extra.
The hotel was very well equipped with Spa facilities, swimming pool etc.
The staff were there to help and it was a comfortable stay. Some of the rooms look out over the lake which was a nice touch. I can recommend this hotel.
Hotel, room and facilities were all really good and staff very helpful and friendly. Could not fault the Fleece if you are thinking of a stay in Cirencester.
