Beautiful hotel, would highly recommend. Decorated to a very high standard. USB ports in the sockets at the bedside which is a big plus. Most hotels have limited sockets. Linda, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach and pier. Also a Toby Carvery a very short walk away.
If I ever visit that part of the country again, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location, has everything you need, was able to bring our little dog. The kids absolutely loved it, we had a little issue which we managed to sort ourselves but the owner went out of his way to check on us to make sure we was all okay. Was really quiet as nothing open yet but this made it even better! Really really comfy, can’t wait to come back

Just a minute's walk to West Cliff Beach, Clacton-On-Sea town centre and Clacton-On-Sea pier, The Sandrock has free WiFi. A full English breakfast is freshly cooked and served every morning.
Clacton was far nicer than I expected. Loved the amenities and gardens and would be happy to recomend it for families in particular. It was easy to get around, though the traffic queues to Holland on Sea inland were a pain. More easily accessed along the coastal road.

We actually live in Clacton on Sea and just wanted to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary with dinner in your restaurant, which was an excellent meal, then an overnight stay in a comfortable room with a sea view and the full English breakfast completed our very happy stay perfectly. Thank you to all staff at Kingscliff Hotel!

We were there end of November so most things were shut.
We were there end of November so most things were shut.
We went to the cinema while there which was a bargain!!! £10.90 for 2 tickets!
Some arcades open
We have been many times in the summer and just keep on going back!
We ate in weather's weatherspoons ad it's always cheap and cheerful although the portion size always means hubby eats 2 dinners in there!

Clacton is a lovely kiss-me-quick family friendly place.
Clacton is a lovely kiss-me-quick family friendly place. Nice break for friends or couples. Lots of decent restaurants, chippies and fast food, pubs etc. Amusement arcades for fun and the pier for rides, donuts and games. Lovely promenade to walk along and take the sea air.

It wasn't the prettiest of seaside places but the beaches were lovely. For families with young children there was loads to do. There were nice gardens along the seafront. The shops were everything you would expect in a town. We liked the Princes theatre as it wasn't too big. We had a lovely meal at smugglers cove restaurant, we had the carvery and the turkey was superb. There are plenty of cafes and places to eat..

Fantastic area, short walk to lovely beach, was just looking for a hotel room too and it just popped up, much better than a hotel but hadn't considered an apartment as thought it would be more expensive ( it wasn't, it was cheaper) Very clean lovely decor and everything to a very high standard, in fact it was brilliant, and if it just had the few things sorted out below I would give it 6 stars.
The friendly staff helpful and cheerful. Very good location only a few minutes walk to to beach and pier. Parking space saved for us when we arrived. Considering this is a budget hotel we got a lovely comfortable room with everything you need for your stay. Would definitely stay again when visiting Clacton fantastic atmosphere every where we went. Loved it. Lorraine Koller 👌❤
Lovely caravan, was clean and had a spacious sitting area. The back was facing the fields so was in a very good location in the Holiday park. 10min driver from clacton on sea pier, very good location.
