Very handy for the ferry terminal - we enjoyed watching the boats from our bedroom window. Lovely Inn with friendly staff and good food. It was very busy both nights we were there with both locals and visitors which is wonderful to seeas so many places are closing. Great location for exploring the island. Island is very scenic. Ferry service was very good. Roads are mostly single track with passing places. So allow more time for journeys to Tobermory etc. cafes, restaurants etc are struggling to get staff at present. Lots of space, bars, lounges etc as well as the spa/ pool (which we didn’t have time to use) and the dining area was spacious and felt uncrowned even when lots of people were there. Quick and acceptable response from hotel staff ? Duty maitre d’? when I mentioned a problem with one main course. The bedlinen was clean. The food was generally of good quality and good helpings. We read the reviews on Booking.com before booking and thought "it can't be as bad as that" but we were mistaken.
