Beautiful decor with a very high quality finish to everything. Dog friendly too. The bed was amazingly comfortable and nice to stay somewhere with a decent TV as we love watching films.

Butterleigh Meadow - a large grassed field on the outskirts of the village for locals use for dog walking etc. is a great attribute to this venue! Simply stunning views.
With a stunning position on the banks of the River Exe in Bickleigh, and surrounded by beautiful Devonshire countryside, Fisherman’s Cot has free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site.

Great staff, really helpful and friendly.
Offered me dog bedding and bowls. Lovely atmosphere in the pub.
Location beautiful.
Room in courtyard which made it easy to take the dog out for a wee.
Mattress and pillows really good.
Nice linen and towels.
Easy wi fi access.
Would definitely book again.
Fridge in room. Milk, bottled water tea and coffee.
Also mini cereal boxes. Though out of date we still enjoyed coco pops 😄
No Tv in room which is a positive for me.

Lovely little town with boutique and independent shops with nice places to eat. Surrounding countryside was lovely, even in November when we went, but threatened by lots of new housing development only served by country lanes. Car very important to see the sights out of town. Everyone very friendly including at the Mill in Uffcombe which is well worth a visit.

Cullompton itself seemed devoid of restaurants and a bit run down. We went there because it is well connected by M5 to Exeter, which we wanted to visit. Also near to a lovely National Trust property outside Tiverton.
If you want a lovely evening meal as a change to Padbrook Park, we were recommended to take the old Exeter Road B3181 towards Exeter and stop at a pub on crossroads at Westcott - excellent and very reasonably priced.

We stayed in Butterleigh Inn but had dinner in Tiverton.

There were a few good choices in the town for an evening meal and takeaways. Tiverton is a nice town, we visited it the following day. It has got many art and fashion shops, also cafes and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay. Cottage is charming. Perfect for a couple and a dog. Comfortable and clean and we loved the bedding, towels and crockery in particular! Liked the extra touch of dog stuff because we forgot our dog towel! Thanks Anna.

Cullompton itself is dreadful, however the property is not in Cullompton itself, it is a couple of miles outside. This does not effect the stay at Newcourt Barton whatsoever which is in Langford. Langford and Newcourt Barton is EXCELLENT.

This property served us perfectly well, though perhaps if I had read the terms properly I would have gone elsewhere - no breakfast, no daily service. It seems odd to call it a hotel - it really just comprises guest rooms with key safe/key access. They are comfy enough and clean - though the shower/loo is a wet room so everything gets wet.
Lovely spacious clean house. Perfect for a weekend get away. The location was perfect, it was in a tranquil environment but easily accessible to Cullompton town.
Sandra has thought of all the provisions to take it from a good stay to a great stay.
I would have loved to stay longer.
Breakfast was delicious both mornings, well cooked and plenty to choose from. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel bar, not feeling up to a sit down meal. It was served quickly and was exceptionally well made.
