Situated 49 km from Dunrobin Castle and providing a tennis court, Turadh 'a break in the clouds' features accommodation in Dunbeath.

Turadh was one of seven pods on the hillside overlooking Dunbeath harbour and beach. There are spectacular views from the property and great walks nearby. Despite being on the main road the pods are well insulated from the noise of passing traffic. It was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The facilities were great. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. They also prepared two of the most delicious pizzas we have ever tasted . We would highly recommend a stay here.

Set in Latheron, in a historic building, 37 km from Sinclair's Bay, Forse of Nature is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and shared lounge. The property has sea and river views.

The house was clean and the beds were really comfortable. I went with my 3 young sons and they loved the woodland trail in the garden and the mouse pictures in the house. We had a lovely welcome.

We thought it was a lovely place and think with the addition of the pods next to The Bay restaurant (also owners of the pods) puts Dunbeath on the map for visitors. I wouldn’t class it a touristy place, but it’s got a beautiful harbour and in a great position for onward travel to Wick and Thurso and many of the attractions along the NE coastline.

A small sleepy town. Very kind people.

A small sleepy town. Very kind people. Tasty toes in the harbour sells delicious lobster or crab meat. There is limited choice of stores, but the staff are amazing. The best stroll is to the Cave, If you don't mind walking longer distances along the road, you should visit Braemore. The scenery is spectacular.
