Lovely Georgian village with character buildings around the Central square. Market, but not during this stay. Good selections of cafés very friendly staff. Good pubs. Boots + 2 x small supermarkets. Still has a Building Society/bank open!

A charming small town that is quite vibrant. It has a lot to offer in terms of coffee shops and drink/dining places. On both days we were at Easingwold there were markets that were well attended and quite attractive. The town is easy to get to/from. York is not far away to the south and to the north the A19 takes you to other lovely towns, e.g Thirsk.

We love visiting Easingwold, the town is just lovely as are the people. It is very central to a lot of surrounding places like York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Helmsley. We love the free parking in the town and the pubs in particular The George Hotel is comfortable and the food is amazing. We bought some gorgeous chocolate from the autism shop and the lady who served us was so lovely. We had fish and chips from Jake's Plaice which was very tasty.

Easingwold is a small Market town that is alive and lovingly cared for- flowers and tubs, nice variety of shops, coffee shops, pubs, once weekly market and very friendly people It is also close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside that is filled with history and York is a short distance away. It has an excellent bus service

We had a lovely stay here. Large village/small town. Lots of amenities. Tourist information centre staff very helpful. Ideal for walking the surrounding countryside. Market, shops, pubs, even a fish and chip van on a Friday.

Nice little town which had a market on the Friday and artisan market on the Saturday (first Saturday of the month). Nice walks nearby eg from Kilburn and handy for visiting Thirsk, Helmsley, White Horse etc. Various pubs and cafes within an easy walk from Little Ings as well as many not far away.

location, clean, comfortable and warm. good prices but standard of building and tired exterior / rear entry area really was a turn off. Great if you are a budget traveller, working locally on a contract or similar but not a charming pub or hotel by any means. overall it was what we expected for the price so we are happy.
