Nestled within its own grounds on the banks of the River Lossie, The Mansion House is a peaceful getaway just a few minutes’ walk from the historical centre of Elgin.

Gorgeous building, the beds were awesome to look at and super comfy. Breakfast was fantastic. Bathroom could do with a bit of an update but overall a great place to stay.

Disappointed that the swimming pool and gym spa facilities were unavailable, there were no bar facilities and no evening meal dining. However, the staff were amazing fixing problems with our initial room and rerooming us. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Nothing to dislike! Lovely hotel, room was on smallish side but was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The resteraunt and food were spot on, from breakfast to evening meal, and location was perfect, and last but not least the staff were lovely and provided a brilliant service making us feel very welcome and comfortable.

The hotel is located close to the railway station and is a short walk from the town centre.
The room was very clean and comfortable and there was no intrusive noise. The bed was very comfy
The hotel is a popular eating place and that is not surprising given the quality and range of food on offer, including a good choice of vegetarian dihes. The service is quick and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
All the public areas are well maintained and the whole hotel has an air of freshness.

The staff (Pinpinat) very friendly and polite. I stayed here for 2 nights and was very well looked after.
The rooms are beautifully furnished to a high spec and very clean.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the options are plentiful from fruit, cereal & full cooked.
I would highly recommend and will certainly be staying again.

There are many excellent places for meals.
There are many excellent places for meals. We had a good fish and chips meal at Mr Chips right down the street of the Albany Lodge. Although it's very limited free parking, it is a good location to take the bus that takes you to Duluce Castle, Giants Causeway, etc. I really recommend this bus route to avoid driving and trying to find parking.
A big plus is the ocean view from the hotel and a easy walk to the beach.

A Scots city, in the middle of many visiting spots. Especially if you like whiskey. In the heart of malt whiskey county. Travelling distance to the Cairngorms and Grampian, plus the major cities of the north.

Not a great deal in Elgin, to be honest, but it's still well worth a visit just to see and go round the cathedral, particularly on a fine day! The city's also well placed to stay over as you explore the coast and surrounding countryside (including its many distilleries and castles). The hotel where we stayed had no dinner service, but there's a selection of restaurants in the town to choose from and the local 'Spoons is the same good value no matter where you are!

Beautiful bathroom!!! Amazing shower and bath, I loved relaxing in the deep tub!...it has everything you need for your visit...parking was easy opposite...4 min walk to co-op, 10 minute walk to Elgin town centre...and super accessible to surrounding sights.
Very handy for walking into Elgin. The breakfast was particularly good. Loved the fresh fruit salad, and the ‘proper’ coffee. You will definitely not be hungry after this breakfast. Room was at the front, facing the+main road, but it was not noisy.
The staff where incredible. Very helpful when accommodating my 8 month old. The accommodation/room we had was perfect, having it's own access door with no stairs at the side of the hotel. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked.
No food , no hot water
, filthy smelling room , bugs in bathroom, should not be open , I left and booked into nearby hotel , I just could not stay there
