The staff were really friendly and the bed was really comfortable.
The room was a bit cold the first night but it was warm the second. It just needed time for the radiator to completely fill both the room and the hallway leading to the bathroom.
The breakfast was delicious and super filling! Me being gluten free was no problem at all!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The room had its own front door on the ground floor - very accessible for our needs and it had its own little veranda with table. The room seemed to be quite well insulated from noise outside. Comfortable bed and table-space inside as well as outside.
Good tea and coffee-making equipment.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Answered the phone immediately when we rang to say we would be arriving a bit late.
We didn't use the other facilities (e.g. breakfast) since we arrived quite late and left early, so we can't comment on those other facilities.
There seemed to be plenty of car-parking space (we didn't arrive by car, so we can't comment further).
Faversham is nearby and very pretty - good location for people travelling between London and Canterbury/Dover.
We will probably stay there again if we are in the area or travelling through.
Home from Home in Faversham offers accommodations with free Wifi, 10 miles from Canterbury East Train Station, 10 miles from Canterbury West Train Station, and 10 miles from University of Kent.

We have enjoyed our time in Faversham very much. Our accommodation was perfect for our needs. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and conveniently located.
With a 24-hour front desk, this hotel offers free breakfasts and a modern restaurant. Holiday Inn Express Canterbury is located in Upper Harbledown, just outside historic Canterbury.

We ate both nights in the hotel, The fish dish was delicious.

Faversham is steeped in history and still has some amazing buildings. It is also the home of Shepherd Neame, the brewing company, who own many of the pubs in the area. There is plenty to do, loads of cafes, bars and good restaurants. We ate in The Lounge, in Prince of India and The Old Smokehouse. All were excellent, but I think The Old Smokehouse was our favourite. The people in Faversham were so friendly, the shops interesting and welcoming, and such a lot to see, from Medieval streets to a quay offering a variety of interesting antique shops. There is a cinema, an Italian wine bar with excellent wines and cocktails, and a market square. A beautiful place with such history.

Faversham is Fabulous!
Faversham is Fabulous!
There is so much to see and do, and it is so quaint and vibrant. Beautiful town, history, markets and of course The Brewery, The Creek and The Gunpowder Works.
Great restaurants and pubs, so many to choose from.
Our favourites are The Faversham Kebab House, Posillipos and Spice Lounge.
It's a town that keeps on giving.

Surprisingly nice town, some nice cafe's and places to eat. A Coop, Tesco and Sainsbury are in the vicinity. You can take the Shepherd Neame brewery tour there. Very good for day trips to Canterbury or Dover. The latter only +- 40 mins by train. v

Faversham, is steeped in historic buildings.
Faversham, is steeped in historic buildings. Some areas are pedestrianised. On Saturday there is a wonderful local market. It is an easy, interesting town to walk round and we printed of the town walk before we went which was interesting to wander round. Plenty of parking in the town, both short and long stay at reasonable rate. Most seem to use the Ringo app. The Sheppard Neame Brewery visitor centre and brewery are in the heart of the town and worth a visit. (book tour). The is also a gunpowder trail walk that you can download and follow (the gunpowder mills played a significant part in the towns history). Well worth walking down to the Quay where there are further retailers (small artisan type) and toilets/refreshments.

Faversham is a lovely town with an interesting history and amazing different architecture. Lots of little shops and cafes and charter markets. St Marys Church has 14th century wall paintings on a pillar.
Excellent eateries too - they are popular so be sure to book an evening meal!

We stayed 2 nights in a large room with en-suite. Bed very comfortable. Ideal location for Faversham town centre (5min walk).
We managed to park opposite and the host provided us with free parking passes.
Great healthy Breakfast and excellent friendly host, we chatted throughout.
Host only has one booking at a time which suited us.
We’d book again easily.
Really liked this exceptionally characterful inn, owned by Shepherds Neame, a few yards from their Brewery in the Kentish Town of Faversham. Staffs were attentive and friendly, food was great, bedroom spacious and modern despite the age of the timber frames building. Will go again.
Booked this lovely hotel for my partners birthday, was a last minute booking and couldn't be more pleased, lady who checked us in was lovely and so friendly, also the lady who served us in the bat area. Breakfast was extremely yummy as well, we will defo be back again.
Hotel was really nice. Great room, very spacious and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good too (served 8.30-9.30, which was ideal for us, but might not be for everyone). Staff very friendly. Would happily stay again!!
The hotel is centrally located in Faversham, and is very close to the railway station. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. There was a supply of tea and coffee in the room.
